One of the main advantages of the TLS solution lies in its ability to compare carrier rates against each other. The prices displayed in the Dispatch/Reception Management or Simulation modules are the total prices that must be invoiced by the carrier. In order to compare these rates, the TLS software transforms the volumes, weights and floor dimensions into a taxable weight, taking into consideration the various extra charges and rate restrictions.
The TLS team takes charge of inserting the rates of the carriers of each of its clients and keeping them updated. Each client takes responsibility for sending its rates and updates to TLS, which shall insert them into the system. It takes up to 2 working days for an update and 5 working days to insert a new rate. The management of rates by the TLS team is essential in order to prevent entry errors that could lead to problems in using each of the modules and cause significant losses in effectiveness and time.
